With millions of singles out there looking for love via online dating sites, meeting someone is a relatively easy thing to do. Almost anyone that fills out an honest profile with a few photos will be contacted in a matter of days. So receiving a few hits is the easy part. Finding someone special, someone with whom you connect, can be a bit more difficult.
If you’ve met someone using one of the many available online dating sites and have a date planned, then let’s hope that the first kiss—whenever it happens—goes off without a hitch. If it doesn’t, then you might be in a little bit of a pickle.
The ability to kiss isn’t that important. But not being able to kiss at all, being a horrible kisser, is almost criminal according to some people. What do you do when your date turns out to be a terrible kisser? Is there any remedy? Is this relationship worth another chance?

Nervous
There’s nothing like sweaty palms, a fast heartbeat and a feeling of confused urgency to screw up a kiss. Nervousness could lead to any one of a number of bad kissing scenarios. So maybe your date isn’t a horrible kisser – maybe it was just horrible timing and they were really nervous. It’s worth a second go-round to find out.
Too eager to please
This happens more often than you’d think. Once your date realize that you actually want to kiss, they may become eager to please you – i.e. they’ll attempt to lay a passionate smooch on you that may come across as amateurish and even gross. Give them the benefit of the doubt and don’t run away just yet.
A little unskilled
There’s no guarantee that your date has a lot of experience in the kissing department. Is it that big of a deal if you have to work on kissing skills together? It might actually be fun.
There are worse people out there than people not knowing how to knock your socks off when they kiss you. This is no reason to dump someone. Stick with it and see what the two of you can come up with.
