Posted & filed under Articles.

Hanukkah is an excellent way to spend time with your partner. Whether you are in a new relationship formed off of a free dating site or you have been going out for years, the holidays are a great time to not only spend time together but to learn about family and religious holidays. If your significant other does not celebrate Hanukkah it might be the perfect tim to introduce him or her to your traditions. Here are some ways that you can spend this Hanukkah with your partner:

  • Learn about Hanukkah Traditions.  Hanukkah is celebrated for eight consecutive nights.  Teach your partner about this holy day from the history to the ceremonial rituals performed throughout the holiday like the lighting of the candles.
  • Play the Fun Spin the Dreidel.  Dreidel is a really fun game that will take you back to grade school.  Explain the rules to your partner and come up with exciting prizes for the winner.  Remember keep it PG if you aren’t playing alone.
  • Cook Traditional Hanukkah Meals.  You might not be a master chef but spending time in the kitchen is great for any couple.  It shows mutual respect and how great you work together as a team.  You can find easy recipes online and share these meals with your friends and family.
  • Settle Down the Night with Some TV Favorites. There are a lot more shows and movies that involve Hanukkah then you might think.  Heat up your latkas and relax the night away watching some of these episodes.

Have fun this year celebrating Hanukkah with your significant other with these fantastic holiday activities.
