UK Dating: Reasons Never to Date a Man U Fan

Posted & filed under Articles.

Trivial things like sports loyalties don’t play a large role in the whole of the online dating world. But for footy fans in the UK, this is another story entirely. Although you might be able to find a few, inter-relationship couples are very rare. Finding a Chelsea supporter hooked up with a Manchester United fan is as rare as a four-leaf clover.

Date in the UK online without murder involved

It’s not so much that dueling fans can’t find love; it’s more about Man U fans being a little bit too obnoxious to date in general.
Okay, so you may find an exception to the rule. You might support Arsenal and find that your special someone is a cocky, loud-mouthed Man U fanatic. Hey, more power to you. But more often than not, online daters should avoid these unruly uberfans, and here are a few reasons why.

1: Yakety, yak, they all talk smack

With 11 championships to their credit, Man U is well ahead of Arsenal and recent winners Chelsea. And a Man U fan will let you know it every time a footy game comes on. They will never shut up if they win, and they’ll talk even more if they lose – making excuses and blaming coulda-been transfers and ghost penalties.

2: Always out in front

Most Man U fans you’ll find aren’t exactly diehard footy folk. They’re simply frontrunners, rooting for United because they’re still the most popular PL team playing. Do you really want a frontrunner to be your companion? Where will they be if and when the going gets tough? And, for all you now, they might ditch you for the next hottest person up the ladder. It would be typical of a frontrunner.

3: Obnoxiously unpleasant

Because they’re always talking trash and because they’re always trying to run out in front, Man U faithful are flat-out unpleasant people, by and large, with a seeming need to bring your day down. They’re habitual parade rainers and won’t change.

There are plenty of reasons not to date someone, and even more reasons when you get into the realm of free online dating , but if you’re a supporter of one of the other Premier clubs, then you should avoid Man U supporters like the plague. Could something good possibly come of it? Possibly. But it’s just a pain in the arse to find out.
